A 19th century walnut cased Fortuna music box. Operating via a single comb to fit 8.5" discs, five of which are included. The outer case has 'Fortuna' painted on the lid and the side with pyrography script 'Jul Heinz Zimmerman, Leipzig'. The lid lifts to reveal picture of winged female with a swan surrounded by mermaids. Case measures 17 x 25 cm.
