A Mid-19th Century French Kingwood Dressing Table Manufactured and/or Retailed by Alphonse Giroux of Paris, the rectangular top inlaid with initial 'S' in penwork ivory and comprised of three sections each enlosing a fitted interior with central fold-up mirror flanked by navy silk-lined storage compartments, the desk further set with central pull-out slide above a drawer featuring lockplate signed Mon. Alph. Giroux, Paris with a further fitted drawer to the right side, all raised on slender tapered square sections supports terminating in gilt metal caps.
