Initially training as a teacher with a specialist interest in physical education, Barbara Goolden discovered an early interest in and talent for painting, which she has maintained and developed throughout her life.
Barbara Goolden draws the people and animals of Wales all set in the Welsh landscape, the constantly changing light and moods of the mountains with their power and dignity portrayed in her paintings in a variety of media.
