Herculaneum foot bath circa 1835, decorated with flora in overglaze transfer enamels and hand painting with flora, impressed mark to base, 50.5cm long Illustrated in The Herculaneum Pottery by Peter Hyland page 208. Condition report: star crack to base, one handle rejoined with restoration covering joins, filled chip to the other handle. Some wear and overpainting to the decoration. Fine crazing.
