Savage model 1899 .303 Savage lever action rifle, 25 inch barrel fitted with tangent rear sight, folding brass and steel dovetailed front sight, the tang fitted with Lyman folding rear sight with locking lever, the action top strap cocking indicator and magazine counter, with most original blue finish and traces of colour case hardening to lever, serial number 164817 for 1914, the walnut stock with original finish and crescent shape butt plate.
