Musical Snuff Box by Henri Capt of Geneva
Swiss pressed horn musical snuff box or tabatière by Henri Capt of Geneva, circa 1825. The lid of the box is decorated with a hand painted picture panel described 'vue pres de L'etna en Sicile' which translates to 'a view near Etna in Sicily'. The music box is housed in a blue velvet lined red leather box and comes with a key. Musical box 9.2cm wide, 5.7cm deep, 3.4cm high. Leather box 10.5cm wide, 7.4cm deep, 4.2cm high.
