Finnish M39 7.62 bolt action rifle LICENCE REQUIRED
Finnish Tikka M39 Mosin Nagant bolt action Rifle, 28inch barrel, fitted with improved Finnish iron sights, with octagonal to round receiver stamped VKT (Valtion Kivääritehdas) as well as SA for the Finnish Army (Suomen Armeija), polished steel turned down bolt, birch jointed stock stamped TVG (see below) with barrel bands and cleaning rod, serial number 74348. The rifle is fitted with a Russian PEM model scope dated 1937 and stamped with Hammer and Sickle mark, serial number 26450, with reproduction mounts and leather lens covers. With leather sling.
This rifle has been converted into a full Sniper version rifle by Thames Valley Guns. A total of fifteen processes were undertaken to accurize the gun as detailed in the receipt included with the gun.
