A Liberty & Co. Cymric silver and enamel vesta case designed by Archibald Knox, of rectangular form, with blue and green enamel motif to front, hallmarks for William Hair Haseler, Birmingham, 1905, length 5cm, gross weight 1.22ozt.

Liberty's range of jewellery and silver sold under the trade name of 'Cymric' was launched in 1899. It was manufactured in association with W.H. Haseler of Birmingham, manufacturing jewellers and silversmiths under a subsidiary company known as Liberty & Co. (Cymric) Ltd was registered in May 1901, directed by William Hair Haseler and Frank Haseler, with J.H. Howe and John Llewellyn of Liberty's. They also made the 'Tudric' pewter range for Liberty's. This association ended in 1926. Source: The British Museum.
