French Eight-Day Gilt Brass and Champleve Mantel Clock
Late 19th Century French mantel clock, 8 day Japy Freres stamped movement striking on a single bell, brocot suspension, backplate stamped 'R&C London & Paris' (Richard & Cie). Ormolu and champleve enamelled dial with black roman numerals, gilt brass case with multicoloured champleve decoration, four pillars and three cherub figures, standing on four adjustable ormolu disk feet. With pendulum and key.
