Late 19th Century French ebonised chinoiserie mantel clock by Finnigans, Paris. Eight-day movement, backplate stamped Depose '4126', gilt metal dial with black art deco style Arabic numerals, secondary 24 hour dial. Body is surmounted with a brass birdcage and automaton bird, the black lacquered case is hand painted with oriental figures, landscapes and floral motifs. The clock is housed in a glass dome which sits on a circular ebonised base with a green velvet top. Parts of the movement and supplementary components accompany the lot, it is unknown if it is complete.
