Japanese WWII period katana, mounted for civilian use possibly a home defence sword, the tang signed 'Kato Jumyo'
Kato Zennosuke (Yoshinosuke) Jumyo (b.10th July 1893 d. 29th August 1956) worked at Seki in Gifu (Noshu / Mino province) and exhibited at sword forging contest in March 1941 qualified as 'second seat'.
