Russian 84 silver combined cigarette and matches case, St Petersburg, 1882 - 1899, maker possibly MK, decorated on either side with a sunburst, the flush hinged cover with a gold thumbpiece, metal striker plate, backed by a cordage sleeve, 10.5 x 6.5cm, 6oz 19dwt all in. Condition report: hallmarks unworn but a little unclear; interior gilding good, tinder cord lacking.
