British Army tunic, cap and Sam Browne with revolver holster formerly belonging to Captain Douglas Foxley Foxwell (b.1890-d.1980), includes photocopy details of Military Cross (General List) and 'The London Gazette' dated January 1, 1918 and July 4, 1919.fitted on display model included in the lot.
Captain Douglas Foxley Foxwell served in the Rifle Brigade during WWI and went to France in August 1915. Following WWI he served in the Territorial Army, Royal Sussex Regiment.
