A George V Silver Mounted Travelling Vanity Set in Fitted Case by Henry Matthews Ltd., Birmingham 1919, retailed by Finningans of Manchester, of Art Deco design with engine turned detail and chased armorial of a lion rampant holding an Orthodox cross to cental cartouche, part-complete, comprising a hand-mirror, comb, button hook, shoehorn, pair of hair brushes, pair of clothes brushes and three vanity jars, all housed in a stitched navy leather case, the navy silk-lined interior with gilt tooled retailer's stamp, the case within an outer canvas covering with both bearing M. S. B. monogram.
