Brian Stones trained at Manchester College of Art and Design and was part of the renowned and influential Geigy design group working alongside Karl Gerstner and Victor Vasarely. He was employed for more than 30 years in the company as an artistic director; examples of his work are at the Zurich Design Museum, exhibited at the 2009 "Great Design Great Business" show and in the book "Corporate Diversity Geigy 1940-1970" (source Naomi, daughter of the artist).
