Greener .577 percussion muzzle loading volunteer rifle, 32inch barrel with five groove rifling, fitted with folding ladder sight and secured by two bands, the forward band holding a bayonet lug, platinum breech plug, scrollwork engraved lock bearing maker's name, full length chequered stock fitted with scrollwork engraved patchbox and silver escutcheon engraved 'J.Smith'.
