Late 18th Century 8-Day Quarter Chiming Longcase Clock
Striking every quarter on a carillon of eight bells and the hour on a single gong, square painted dial with an internal rolling moon, Roman and Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes plus a subsidiary seconds dial. All within an oak and mahogany cross-banded case, the hood with a swan neck pediment, gilt painted blue panel and a square glazed door flanked by brass capped columns, the trunk with quartered brass capped columns on a box base with chamfered corners.
