Striking on single bell, the painted square dial with gilt spandrels, depicting two swans to the centre, with black painted Roman numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture. All contained in an oak case with mahogany cross-banding and boxwood stringing, the hood with a swan neck pediment above a glazed door flanked by brass capped columns, trunk with chequered stringing and flanked by quartered columns on a box base, all raised on stile feet, the shaped bracket base is detached and supplied.
