Pair of Tim Stead single chairs
Pair of Tim Stead elm single high back chairs with an elongated back made up of horizontal strips a number of woods to include sycamore and ash between two elm stiles. The scooped seat stands of four legs united on three sides by stretchers. Areas of the wood have been filled by a bronze paste. 47cm wide, 53cm deep, 122cm high (seat height 44cm).
Similar design chairs were used in the Oil Chapel of the historic Kirk of St Nicholas, Aberdeen.
