An 18ct gold Thomas Russell & Son open-faced fob watch
The manual-wind timepiece possesses an open-face style, heralding the name "Thos Russell & Sons" and revealing an eloquent floral motif of polished gold, which contrasts with the background of the brushed gold central section, the 36mm dial features black Roman numerals and hands, a beaded border, which again is emphasised by a less-reflective brushed gold background, circular bow and fluted crown, the case is composed of 18ct yellow gold and the inner case is composed of gold-plated copper 'Cuivre', no visible hallmark, stamped '18K', 40mm case diameter, 36mm dial, gross weight approximately 51.4g.
