WWI Memorial Plaque Awarded to 7085 Pte. Frank McCarthy 1st Battalion Cheshire Regiment, in card envelope of issue and accompanied by extensive original and copied paperwork included confirmation of mention in Despatch from Field Marshal Sir John D. P. French on 8th October 1914, further notes on his service including acts of bravery which possibly won him a DCM, certificates and further related material including familial correspondence; Pte. McCarthy is listed as being Killed in action in France & Flanders 6-3-15.
