Presentation travelling box, mahogany and lacquered brass construction, the top fitted with engraved inscription plaque reading: 'To Harrn Hughes R.N.R from his Father on leaving England for Cape Town in the R.M.S. Dunkend, 5th November 1878. In remembrance of his Grandfather Joseph Hughes who died 12th February 1845 & was interred in Limehouse Churchyard' with lift up lid and drawer front revealing to lift out fitted trays. 23cm high x 27cm wide Condition report: scuffs wear and general signs of age.
