Five shell cases, two with embossed decoration, one engraved with Egyptian figures, one dated 1919. also a bullet head measuring 100mm diameter, detonator, two trench art ashtrays and 16th Lancers horse brasses. The shell head measures 37cm high

Our 26th September sale contains a single owner collection of16th /5th The Queens Royal Lancers uniforms, swords and other related items. The collection contains an 1896 pattern sword formerly the property of Victoria Cross awardee Alexander Edward Murray (Viscount Fincastle) (1872-1962). Also an 1897 presentation sword given to Lieutenant. G Burridge in 1909. The Jacket of Major Cuthbert John Eccles 16th Lancers jacket, as well as the Dress Jacket and trousers of Major The Honourable Herbrand Alexander 5th Lancers,
