Japanese tanto, double edged blade with short fuller and 25cm cutting edge with suguha hamon, the tang signed Sukemitsu, Koto period, thought to be late Muromachi 1467-1572, fitted into lacquer saya and tsuka with horn mounts, with kozuka signed Bushu (province) Edo (city) and Yasutsugu (maker).
