Minton twin handled lidded vase signed L Boullemier circa 1900 based on the first neoclassical service made for Catherine II of Russia in 1779, painted with cameos on green within gilded bands on a pink ground, the two handles moulded as rams masks, gilt printed mark and incised numerals to base, (the body cracked and stapled) (2) Ex Bonhams Minton Archive Sale Lot 67 23rd July 2002. 55cm high Condition report: The body broken in two horizontally through the gilded leaves and stapled together, associated cracks spreading vertically. Wear to gilding mainly at the bottom of the border of the central cameo. Very fine crazing overall.
