18th Century short sword possibly for a bandsman, made from a shortened 1741 Infantry Hanger, with brass guard, wood grip, slightly curved blade and leather scabbard, overall length 72cm Condition report: pitted areas to the blade, small brass insert missing from the grip. Wear, small dents and signs of age to the scabbard.
