A Large Japanese Meiji Period Imari Centrepiece Bowl, late 19th century, with shaped and cut rim, profusely decorated with phoenix amongst cherry blossom, floral sprays and panels, gilt-highlighted with repeated pattern to the raised foot, single character 玉 (gyoku) mark to base, presented on a substantial Chinese carved hardwood stand of the same period.
