A 19th century Louis XIV style mantel clock. Veneered in tortoishell with brass mounts, feet and finial taking the form of acanthus leaves. This frames an enamel face with both Roman and Arabic numerals. Eight-day, two-train movement striking on a single gong. 42 x 18 cm.
