1822 type Cavalry sabre by Weyersberg Solingen, with etched blue and gilt blade, brass guard and scabbard, wire bound leather grip, 99cm overall length in scabbard. Condition report: The blade has a small bend to its length, there is very fine patches of pitting / surface rust. Some bluing is worn. The wire to the grip is coming away in places. Brasswork appears to have been lacquered at some point. The sabre shows knocks, small dents and scratches typical of age and use.
