Two German bayonets, to include:
S. 89/05 n.A. made by Pack Ohliger & Co Solingen, the spine stamped with Crown over W over 17 for 1917 over inspection mark, the quillion on this bayonet is missing. With a good steel scabbard with WWI marks to the throat.
S 84/98 n.A. being the type of bayonet was brought in to replace the longer bayonets of the S.98 and the S.98/05 and introduced in early 1915. The blade spine stamped with crown over W for Wilhelm II over 16 for 1916, left ricasso Gebr Hartkopf Solingen, right ricasso H.Mundlos&Co Magdeburg, lacking scabbard.
