* He studied at Harrow School of Art 1943; Camberwell School of Art 1946-47; and Slade School of Fine Art 1947-50. Showed at Manchester Academy of Fine Arts from 1956, with Lincolnshire Artists at Usher Gallery in Lincoln from 1961, Royal West of England Academy from 1970 and elsewhere. Had a solo show at Phillips Gallery, Middlesborough 1955, later ones including Taunton Brewhouse Theatre 1977. Manchester City Art Gallery, Usher Gallery and galleries in Middlesborough, Salford and Ilminster hold examples.
