A George III 18ct gold and diamond verge pair cased pocket watch by William Tarleton, the white enamel dial with gold hands, Roman numeral hour markers, Arabic and baton outer minutes track, verge movement with finely pierced and engraved watch cock, rose cut diamond endstone, movement and engraved outer plate signed and numbered 'Wm Tarleton, Liverpool, 8172' within an 18ct gold case with hallmarks for Joseph Carpenter, London, 1790, and outer tortoiseshell yellow metal case, case diameter 45mm, outer case diameter 54mm, gross weight 123.6g.
