Steyr Werndl 11.15x58mm M.1873 short rifle, serial number 7212H, 25.5inch barrel fitted with bayonet bar and folding ladder sight, secured by two bands, enclosed hammer lock stamped 875 for 1875 acceptance date, the breech stamped with OEWG Steyr mark, three quarter length stock with scroll trigger guard, and sling loop, the butt plate with faint unit mark.
