Engraved .54 bore Tranter percussion revolver, serial number 11880T, retailed by Francis Marquis, 3rd model, 6 inch octagonal barrel London proof marks, the top strap engraved with '4 Boulevard des Italiens Paris' address, the frame engraved with accanthus leaf scrolling, the grip set with gilded owner's initials P.G.L, side mounted rammer, finely chequered grips.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18.
