Heavy brigade historical documents 'Horse fit for

Crimean War correspondence, from 1855 - 1856 regarding the landing of horses under Major General Scarlet, questioning if the horses are fit for service and detailing the condition of the animals, also a memorandum requesting provost / pickets to be established on the perimeter of the assault to prevent 'Sailors and unauthorised persons' from entering the camp prior to the final assault on Sebastopol, eleven sheets, some letters joined together.
