Flintlock 24 bore pistol by Bennett made for the Turkish market, 11.5inch Spanish form octagonal to round barrel with private proof marks, the lock bears the maker name and is fitted with a semi waterproof pan and roller frizzen, the stock fitted out with white metal furniture including star and moon butt cap surrounded by filigree work, bow shaped trigger guard engraved J.T, with pineapple finial, and star and moon engraved escutcheon.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.
