Vice- Admiral Sir Henry Blackwood signed double

Vice- Admiral Sir Henry Blackwood (1770-1832) signed double letter dated 20th and 24th February 1809, to Sir J.J. Duckworth Vice Admiral of the Red, written from H.M.S. Warspite regarding the 'Rigging which Lord Gambier forwarded to Plymouth' as well as the present state of 'the braces, lifts, reef tackles, yard and stay tackles, top sail, sheets' One sheet folded, the overall unfolded sizes are 32cm x 39.5cm Vice- Admiral Sir Henry Blackwood commanded the Frigate Euryalus as part of Nelson's fleet at the battle of Trafalgar, Condition report: Small hole from seal, minor edge damages and rips, some fading to the ink. Foxing spots.
