Marc Grimshaw (1957-), Maine Road, Manchester, signed, pastel, various sizes, unframed, 23 x 33cm.; 9 x 13in (2). * Maine Road was a football stadium in Moss Side, Manchester, England. It was home to Manchester City F.C. from its construction in 1923 until 2003. It takes its name from the street it was built on which, in itself, had a remarkable history. The street was originally known as Dog Kennel Lane and formed part of an ancient route south of Manchester.
