Twenty two African pipes, mainly North and Central Nigeria, carved, wood, bone, clay and metal, also a roll of plaited tobacco, the largest pipe measures 86cm high Provenance: collected by the vendor whilst living and working in Nigeria in the 1970's. The largest pipe was collected by the vendor whilst visiting the village of Kujama, near Kaduna. Condition report: Signs of age and use to all pieces. There are chips to the bowls of the clay pipes. One wood pipe has a split to the bowl.
