Early 19th century mahogany linen press, ogee top mould cornice above two single panelled doors with brass astragal covering five sliding trays, base with two short and two long drawers, oak linings, brass bale handles, bracket feet. 130cm (51in) wide. Condition report: Interior with one tray missing, brass hinges to door, bottom left hinge strained and damaged, wood which has now been repaired, section of bead on left hand side missing, original brass bale handles, overall condition average to fair with surface scratches right hand side of press with two cracks running from top to bottom, probably caused by central heating.
