"The Final Years" - A British Railways Standard 9F at London's Willesdon Shed in 1962
Signed and dated 1983, titled on exhibition label verso, gouache.
Dimensions: 66 x 89cm (framed 81.5 x 102cm)
It was built in Crewe in 1956 and withdrawn in 1967, at which time she was based at Birkenhead, working the Bidston Dock - Shotton Steelworks ore trains.
