London Armoury Company .577 percussion muzzle loading volunteer prize rifle, 39inch barrel with three groove rifling, fitted with bayonet lug, folding ladder sight and secured by three bands, the lock stamped with a crown, VR 1861 date and L.A.Co., figured three stock fitted a silver plaque engraved 'Private S.F. Ancrum No.5 Compy C.B.R.V.C. Company Prize Presented by Captn. Lighton Sep. 2nd 1861' together with socket bayonet and jockey hat nipple cover.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18.
