German violin in Rushworths case with two bows

German violin, with two piece broadly flamed back and amber to red varnish, together one bow, fitted in Rushworths case.

Dimensions: Length of back 35.8cm

The vendor's grandfather Reginald Turner carried this violin with him whilst serving as a morse code operator in the merchant navy aboard S.S. Halesius. See the final photo taken circa 1923 with Turner appearing bottom right.
