Chrystie, kept by Arthur Wiggins midshipman, commencing 3rd December 1827 in the Company Export Dock, London, and covering a voyage to Bengal and then China and returning to England. The log ends in June 16th 1829 and records details such as the solders on board who received frequent floggings as well as births to soldiers wives and deaths of young children.
