Cased 44 bore (.451) percussion park rifle by Edward Paton, serial number 1189, 30 inch browned Damascus barrel engraved 'Edward Paton, 44 George Street Perth' fitted with folding two leaf sight, platinum breech plug and underside ramrod. The lock engraved with scrollwork and maker name, the chequered figured stock fitted with sling swivel, the spur trigger guard with pineapple finial bearing the gun serial number, the butt plate tang bearing calibre designation .451. The oak case with brass corners, lined in green and containing cleaning rod, round ball mould, Sykes brass powder flask, short starter, powder funnel, nipple key, wad or patch punch, rosewood box of percussion caps, and cap tin.

Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification ID will be required if the lot it to be posted out.
