In the bright and colourful world of penny-in-the-slot arcades amusement machines vie for attention of the visitors. For the manufacturers of these vintage slot machines, background artwork was a critical feature. Wondermatics Ltd founded by Tudah Walter Glover in the early 1950’s maximised on the elaborately coloured backgrounds for their Allwin machines and represent some of the most eye-catching designs available to penny-in-the-slot machine collectors today. Our 18th July auction of Penny Slot and pinball machines features six Wondermatic machines.
