Abas Major .177 air pistol manufactured by A.A. Brown and Sons, serial number 954, 7inch barrel intergral to the cylinder, fitted with fixed front and adjustable rear sight, integral trigger guard cocking handle with 'pellet gauge' drilled, brown bakelite grips.
A.A. Brown and Sons are mainly known as a Sporting rifle manufacturer. Following WWII, with their normal work drying up, they produced their own unique design, manufacturing only 2,000 of these unusual air pistols between 1946 and 1949. This example can is distinguished as a second model from the smooth bakelite grips, the first having walnut grips and the third model chequered bakelite.
No licence required to buy this item, purchaser must be over the age of 18. Collection in person or posted to your local RFD. Cannot be posted to a private address and must be sent to a Registered Firearms Dealer.
