US Trapdoor Springfield 50-70 rifle and bayonet.
US Trapdoor Springfield 50-70 rifle, 32inch barrel converted from percussion, secured by two sprung bands and fitted with folding leaf sight, the lock with Springfield stamp and 1864 date stamp, the breech with the later 1870 conversion date stamp, the butt stock has a 'Co1228' stamp and a nailed on '43' label, together with a socket bayonet stamped US.
Section 58 (2) Antique / obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18, age verification will be required if the lot is to be posted out.
