HS9 stainless steel chronograph, No. 4693, issued to Fleet Air Arm navigator JA Barrow, white dial, arabic hours, 1/5th second divisions, subsidiary constant seconds and 30min timer, centre stop seconds, winder and stop/reset button on the band, case 38mm, inscribed on the back H.S.9 4693 and the crow's foot, on a Bonklip flexible bracelet, together with its original Hydrographic Supplies 4693 box, the navigator's Burma Star, Defence Medal and War Medal 1939-1945; and a silver cigarette case. Condition report: the movement runs to unwound when placed flat but stops on the wrist; winds, adjusts; timer runs, stops and resets; slight scratching to the glass; some scuffing to the box; the medals are boxed and unworn; cigarette case is in good condition hallmarked Birmingham 1956.
