A fine Second World War Bomber Command operations D.F.C. group of six awarded to 170130 Flight Officer Stanley Fisher, Royal Air Force, a Flight Officer who flew with 15 Squadron and was involved in the Nuremberg Raids, G.VI.R., reverse officially dated '1944' and privately engraved '170130 F/O Fisher.S.'; 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Defence Medal and War Medals, M.I.D. oak leaf; Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal Elizabeth II, mounted as worn together with his uniform 'Wings'. * In 1940, together with two other officers, he was awarded the King's Commendation for rescuing a man trapped in a bombed house. The three policeman had spent eight hours digging to free the man.
